This means that if something costs 100 $, than a logical profit margin could be add to the cost. It is not fair at all and it is not acceptable at all to sell this item for 10 $ or for 1000 $ In some cases when I need cash money, I might give some kind of discounts ( between 10 - 20 percent) but not more than this amount.
